ABOUT US

Keith & Stacy Moore

We were both born and raised in Southeast Michigan and met in 2007 at a bowling fundraiser for children with handicaps. Our love quickly blossomed as we became best friends that night as we talked into the wee hours. That friendship has blossomed into a steadfast love.

The strength of our relationship is rooted in God and Family. We are both incredibly close to our families, and have a special bond with our nieces and nephews. Both of our parents have been married for over 45 years and have been a tremendous role model for love and marriage.

Stacy is the youngest of two siblings, with one older sister, Amy. Keith is the oldest of two, with one younger brother, Brent.

We are both blessed growing up with a brother and sister who have became our closest friends. Both siblings have a daughter and son. Some of our favorite moments in life are the times we spend with our nieces and nephews.

Growing up, Stacy loved playing sports, being outdoors, baking with her Mom, rescuing animals, babysitting, and playing school with her older sister Amy (Amy of course being the teacher since she was the older one!). Stacy has always had the biggest heart that shined even in her childhood years. Her passion to help others led her to frequently give back to her community through multiple charities and organizations. This has carried on into her adulthood, where she is engaged in her community and multiple volunteer organizations.

Keith enjoyed playing golf and was quite the bowler, earning him a scholarship to college. He enjoyed an adventurous life outdoors where he often played hockey, football, and baseball (or any sport for that matter) with his brother and friends.  Ever since Keith was a young boy, he's been known as a selfless sweetheart with a caring soul. This is still true today, as he chooses to be a first responder for his career.

Stacy is an engineer by education and applies her electrical and mechanical engineering knowledge as a District Sales Manager of electrical distribution equipment.

Keith is a fire fighter for the town of Delafield. He recently moved to a paid on call position, which will allow him to stay at home to care for our soon to be baby.  Being a stay-at-home dad has always been his dream even since he was a child where his favorite movie was 'Mr. Mom'!

WHY ADOPTION?

We have always wanted to be parents. While we have never prevented getting pregnant, and have had our years of trying, adopting or fostering has always been a calling on both of our hearts. Prior to marrying, adoption and or fostering has been something we have always agreed we both desired in life. Our home is filled with love and laughter and our greatest wish is to share this with a child.

We believe that a good childhood builds a foundation for a happy and successful life. We will create memories and experiences to give your child a well-rounded upbringing. Your child will always know where he or she came from and how much you love him or her. We would love to extend our family and include you in it. We believe in working with the birth parent(s) on the level of openness and contact that they wish to have with their child. We want you to be a part of your child's life so that he or she can have an understanding and appreciation for the tremendous sacrifice that you have made out of love. We will follow the desires of the birthparent(s).  We know that you want what is best for your baby, and we pray that you will find us to be all that you hope for your child.

STACY'S FAMILY

Stacy and her sister, Amy have two loving parents, Debbie and Rick. Amy is married to Aaron and we are both very close to them. Amy and Aaron have a daughter, Emily and a son, Aaron. There is never a dull moment when Keith and Aaron are together, always laughing and joking!  There isn't a greater joy for my parents as when we are all together as a family.

KEITH'S FAMILY

Keith has the most amazing parents - Debbie and Steve. He has one younger brother, Brent. Keith grew up moving around a lot, which was the catalyst for a close friendship between him and his brother. Brent adopted his wife Toni's son, Gavin and three years later, they gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Payten.

OUR HOME

We live in a quaint and charming neighborhood in the outskirts of Waukesha. There are children of all ages who live in our neighborhood and frequent the nearby park. There are over 50 local community parks with multiple trails for biking, hiking, and walking.

We live in an age diverse neighborhood where all are welcomed and adored. We have the kindest neighbors that we've developed numerous life long friendships with.  Children of various ages play in the streets and walk the sidewalks. You will often see parents on their front porches waiting to say hi to the next neighbor that strolls by.

We enjoy living in our neighborhood and our home. We believe it is the perfect place to raise a family! At home we enjoy relaxing in the newly finished basement, eating summer meals on our patio, swimming in the pool, or having BBQs with the neighbors!

TRADITIONS

We believe that children look forward to family traditions - as we did growing up. From Tuesday night game night,  to our Friday night pizza and movie ritual, to our family Christmas traditions - one thing is for sure, and that is the outcome of feeling loved and connected. One of my favorite Holiday family traditions continues on decades later...matching pajamas! Some of my greatest childhood memories involve traditions, and those memories we promise to create for our child!
